Coors Light and Conservation Minnesota Launch 'Drink Beer, Save Lakes' Campaign

Coors Light and Conservation Minnesota have teamed up to better engage Minnesota lake users on the health and care of the lakes we play in.
From now until December 2015, anytime you tweet #BeerSavesLakes, Coors Light will donate $1 to Conservation Minnesota!
Additionally, from May 4th through August 31st, 2015, Coors Light will make a donation for every case or case equivalent of Coors Light beer sold throughout the state. The ultimate goal is to raise $100,000 for Conservation Minnesota to protect Minnesota waters through:
- Engaging Minnesotans in support of legislative and other initiatives related to water quality.
- Gathering support of the Clean Water Promise that sets clear, realistic goals for our waters in the coming decades.
- Working to support and protect funding for AIS research and local government initiatives to combat AIS.
- Providing opportunities for those interested to combat the increasing amount of mercury in our lakes.
- Fighting AIS, like Zebra Mussles, through community detection efforts.
- Continuing the State of Water Conference that is held every other year - next will be spring 2016.
